Bestiaire de l'Anthropocène explore le moment où la biosphère et la technosphère se mêlent jusqu’à devenir indissociables. L’installation questionne l’impact d’une technologie omniprésente sur notre perception du « naturel » et sur les nouvelles formes de vie. Inspirée du livre éponyme (2021), elle dresse un inventaire de créatures hybrides et propose un diptyque vidéo tourné autour du globe. En esquissant ces cohabitations étranges entre humains et êtres technobiologiques, l’œuvre révèle l’esthétique et la violence d’une époque où nature et artefacts fusionnent, invitant à réfléchir sur ce que signifie habiter le monde à l’ère de l’Anthropocène.

A Bestiary of the Anthropocene explores the moment when the biosphere and the technosphere intertwine to the point of becoming inseparable. The installation questions how ubiquitous technology reshapes our perception of the “natural” and gives rise to new forms of life. Inspired by the book of the same name (2021), it compiles an inventory of hybrid creatures and presents a two-channel video diptych filmed around the globe. By sketching these strange cohabitations between humans and techno-biological beings, the work reveals both the aesthetics and the violence of an era in which nature and artifacts merge—inviting us to reflect on what it means to inhabit the world in the age of the Anthropocene.
