Les disciplines du rectangle is an interactive installation that sits at the intersection of video games and contemporary dance, drawing inspiration from the work of Michel Foucault. Through a virtual rectangle that imposes its own rules on the players, the piece explores social norms, the regulation of behavior, and the invisible power of digital technologies. The participants' movements evolve into a strange choreography, illustrating how a system can ultimately end up controlling those who believe they are the ones in command.

One life remains

One Life Remains is a Parisian collective founded in 2010, composed of four artists: André Berlemont, Kevin Lesur, Brice Roy, and Frank Weber. Viewing video games as an artistic medium in their own right, the collective creates conceptual games and interactive installations that explore the relationships between player and spectator, control, gesture, and performance. Through playful, sensory, or intellectual experiences, they push the traditional boundaries of video games and question our relationship with digital technologies.
