This collective began as a transdisciplinary research and artistic production group that, by intersecting art, science, and technology, seeks to generate cross-cutting practices and methodologies that help promote, value, and respect biodiversity.

The Biolab project stems from a call for proposals launched by the Gironde Estuary and Pertuis Sea Marine Natural Park (stretching from the Vendée to the Gironde) with the goal of raising awareness about marine ecosystems and habitats. What better way to foster this awareness than by tapping into the senses, emotions, and intuition evoked by art? Following several studies conducted within the Marine Natural Park, six Argentine and Mexican artists translated this scientific data into digital, visual, and sound art, taking the form of five activities, events, and workshops known as "activations." The Biolab is a facility designed not only as an exhibition space but also as an active platform for territorial immersion and engagement.
