“Iris” is an interactive visual and sound installation that reveals and transforms itself through the act of looking.

The work constantly shifts in unique ways, depending on the viewer, their movement, and the intensity of their gaze.

An interactive system: an eye-tracking camera precisely analyzes the viewer's gaze.

The installation comes to life the moment a visitor stands before it to observe.

Here, the eye is the engine of the work. As long as the gaze is held, kaleidoscopic shapes emerge and evolve in response to the movement of the irises.

The piece reveals the reach and power of the gaze. It is experienced physically by standing directly in front of it.

By controlling the work with their eyes, the viewer may experience a sense of ownership and omnipotence. Like Medusa, they take full possession of the object being watched, gaining the power to transform it, shatter it, or lull it to sleep.
