Factor V explores the limits of existence through a character's sudden plunge into the abyss of their own body. A metaphor for the fragility of life, the film unfolds in fragmented scenes suspended between dreams and thoughts, where memories and visions intertwine. Inspired by a personal experience, it recounts a night in intensive care and the struggle against a late-diagnosed pulmonary embolism. The result of a long introspective process, the film offers a poetic and intense journey into the heart of human vulnerability.

Nicolas Dufoure (FR)

A digital artist and independent filmmaker for nearly twenty years, Nicolas develops work at the intersection of image, light, mapping, and scenography. Today, using real-time processing tools, he is increasingly interested in the concepts of interactivity, space, and light. His work is now focused on creating digital installations, performances, and live visuals. Often closely linked to music, his universe draws inspiration from geometry, geology, space, and the elements. Sensitive to the forms, textures, and structures that surround us, he develops an aesthetic where colors and contrasts come together in vivid compositions, in a constant search for rhythm.
